Muska – An Indian fusion restaurant you’ll wish you had discovered sooner!

Muska is an exceptional restaurant that Expats Malaysia was honored to collaborate with. We recently hosted an expat networking dinner there, attended by 70 expats, which garnered high praise for its food, service, and ambiance from the expat community.

Our team returned shortly after for a food review session, and here’s what we enjoyed and what we recommend you try!

Thosai Rolls RM22

We love that Muska offers three stuffing options for their thosai (Spiced potato, garlic mushroom, or garlic chicken & cheddar), adding a delicious, healthy twist to the traditional dish. We chose the garlic mushroom stuffing, and it was absolutely delicious. It’s the perfect comfort food or a healthy lunch option—we highly recommend giving it a try!

Mutter Paneer Tacos – RM20

The tacos are out-of-the-world delicious and were definitely the crowd’s favorite at the event. The restaurant owner shared that their signature tacos are made with homemade cottage cheese and peas, combined with a mix of onions, tomatoes, and a variety of masalas, served with their signature mint and coriander chutney.

Tandoori Paneer RM20

Mustard Fish 22

Both dishes are outstanding. The mustard fish might appear quite ordinary at first glance, but don’t be deceived—its taste is extraordinary, with a freshness and seasoning that’s out of this world. The owner of Muska shared that they source the freshest Perch fish for this dish, ensuring top-notch quality and flavor. Additionally, Muska makes their own paneer in-house, which you can purchase fresh directly from the restaurant!

Give them a try, and you’ll see the restaurant’s dedication to exceptional food quality.

Chole Poori RM22

The chole poori ( which I kept mispronouncing it as ‘Chloe poorie’) was served in a generous portion with a colourful, eye-catching presentation! Muska clearly puts in the effort to make their food both delicious and visually appealing. The chickpeas were tender and flavorful, and we especially enjoyed the beetroot and spinach pooris that accompanied the dish, adding a fun twist to the meal!

Keema per erdu RM35

A persian style minced lamb topped with runny eggs. ’m usually not a huge fan of lamb, but this dish is incredibly comforting. You can tell Muska selected the best quality eggs for their customers – look at the beautiful golden rich orange yolks!

We strongly recommend Muska for both casual dining and hosting family celebrations or events. We have hosted our expat social event that caused Muska to overspill with people one bustling Saturday. Yet Muska’s wonderful staff managed everything flawlessly without mixing up a single order! The atmosphere is fantastic, with delicious and comforting food. We’re definitely planning to return to try the sago waffles, hakka paneer, and other intriguing items on their menu!
