Is this German Restaurant authentic? Let’s find out!

Pork Knuckle – RM120

Let’s go straight to the point here, because what makes a good authentic German meal with the pork knuckle ? I didn’t set my expectations high because some of the pork knuckles out there are quite dry and uninteresting as a dish. But – I absolutely love this one here, the skin is incredibly crunchy, while the meat is juicy and has a bit of deliciously sticky collagen. Hope the quality is consistent all the time, I cant wait to come back for this.

Just listen to how crunchy the pork knuckle is on Instagram here !

Langos – RM 23

Originally a Czech Republic dish but the owner told us its one of their specialty, so we went ahead and try it. And so glad we did, because its so good ! Please EAT IT WHILE ITS HOT !  Our friend who came with us to the dinner and is coincidentally from Czech Republic said that this is a fancier and better version of what they have in their country.

Kase spaetzle – RM40

Its essentially German pasta, otherwise known as the “German egg noodles” and if you google the recipe its actually quite easy to make at home, but what I think makes this dish really stand out here is the generous amount of fried onions on top. The onions are really sweet and crunchy and just goes amazingly with the cheesy and buttery “German egg noodles”.

Jaegerschnitzle RM55

Another iconic German dish. Frankly like it but not as much as other dishes we ordered.

Maultaschen – RM 42

This is actually my first try of Maultaschen, but I like it a lot. It has a deep umami flavour, and I feel that it’s a good blend of meat and herbs. Very comforting dish.

Kaiserschmarren RM45

I had this in Munich 3 years ago and absolutely fell in love with it ! So I was excited when I saw this on the menu. A very classic German dessert, executed well – soft and fluffy and makes me so happy ~ Just what we need after a super heavy German meal !

Run by a Bavarian family, this German restaurant is comfortable, cozy with charming German décor. It also has a relaxing outdoor patio. Our experience in this restaurant is simply amazing.
