This food review experience stands out distinctively from our typical ones, and we are immensely thankful to the founders Gin and Lennie for inviting us over to their healthy food café. It really got us to rethink and reevaluate our approach to well-being and our daily dietary choices.

Full English Breakfast – RM 36
The picture shown doesn’t do it justice. We appreciate the chef’s effort in turning healthy ingredients into interesting flavours. Especially the miso roasted button mushrooms, and the spiced chick-pea stew (We’d definitely prefer this over bland baked beans, anyday!)
Seed Origin Salad with Beacon Chicken Confit – RM26
A colourful bowl of goodness. Chicken is extraordinarily tender and juicy, The dish was accompanied with a healthy dressing, however we’d prefer it without, as we find the original flavours delightful. (personal opinion)
Shaksuka – RM 24
Spiced chickpea stew, poached eggs and buttered sourdough. A wonderful duo that beautifully complements each other. It also comes with a healthy dose of Radiant organic Omega-Rich Seeds Mix, which boost many health benefits. (promote heart health, boost metabolism, stabilise hormonal levels, to name a few)
Avocado Toast – RM 32
Seeds Origin’s sourdough are amazing, and we secretly wish they offer a weekly delivery service straight to our doorstep! This dish is topped with (a reallyyyy generous) amount of avocado. However as a personal preference, I’d normally sprinkle abit more salt on my avocado toast (feel free to request for more salt from the staff).
Functional juice by Lakewood
Organic Pure Tart Cherry – RM15
Organic Pure Pomegranate – RM 17
100% pure juice, pasteurized and certified organic. Each of these flavours offers a multitude of health benefits. Pomegranate is good for cancer prevention, slow cancer cell growth and also rich in antioxidant. Tart Cherry works wonders for insomnia and has anti inflammation properties.
Pulled beef wrap and soup of the day -RM30
Tumeric latte – RM14
Nutrition-packed wrap filled with roasted potatoes, grilled leeks, flavorful chimichurri sauce, and tender pulled beef. An ideal choice for those with hectic schedules who prioritize healthy eating on the go. Mushroom soup was much to our liking, thick and creamy.
Turmeric latte is just lovely – very creamy with a subtle hint of turmeric.
Garlic Fried Rice with Saba Fish – RM26
This particular dish has completely changed our mindset about healthy food being less tasty. Its proven to be the star of the show, very flavourful and delicious! Owner Gin explained that the dish is cooked with parboiled rice, which is one of the healthier options for rice which is good for gut health and super for people with diabetes as it helps in improving insulin sensitivity being low in glycaemic index and manages blood sugar levels.
Pilaf with grilled salmon – RM34
Highlight of the dish is the organic buckwheat pilaf, probably the best buckwheat we’ve had so far. Personally, I’ve never been a huge fan of buckwheat, but the chef truly amazed me with his culinary expertise in transforming the usually boring buckwheat into something truly delicious and fun. Salmon is seasoned lightly and cooked to perfection. Buckwheat promotes gut health and boosts immune system and helps prevent the development of chronic diseases.
Mee Lontong – RM19
New on the menu made with turmeric for health which absolutely won our hearts, left us craving for more. We highly recommend you to give us place a try, you won’t be disappointed! We will definitely come back for this.
Mee Rebus – RM19
Made with low fat Japanese sweet potatoes, rich in minerals and anti-aging properties. The creamy taste of sweet potatoes stands out. Absolutely delicious, but it’s far from your typical Mee Rebus – this dish stands in a league of its own.
Seed Origins also offers a beautiful varieties of pastries including Kouign Amman, Chicken Ham & Cheese Croissant and Curry Puffs.
