- Automated Car Park System
- Saltwater pool
Location
Capri by Fraser is the perfect location especially for travellor who wants to experience the KL life. It is walking distance from the iconic TRX and Pavilion shopping center and Jalan Alor, which is a 500 meter long and one of the oldest and most cherished food street in KL. Within walking distance from the hotel also lies Changkat, renowned as the city’s most dynamic nightlife hub.
The Room
Our stay at Capri by Fraser was highlighted by the comfort and convenience of our Studio Executive Suite. Immaculately clean and thoughtfully equipped, the suite catered to our every need.
The inclusion of a kitchenette and microwave was a bonus, allowing us to satisfy late-night cravings with ease. For guests like us who appreciate the option of light cooking during staycations, this added convenience was a definite plus.
The rate range between RM324 to RM465 for the Studio Executive Suite as shown through our online search, as the fluctuation in pricing reflects the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry, where prices may vary based on factors such as demand and seasonal trends. we found the rate the pricing to be highly reasonable considering the hotel’s prime location and the quality of the accommodations offered.
Dining experience
Breakfast
We arrived at the breakfast scene during the peak hour and the breakfast spot was full. We were graciously relocated to the business suite for our morning meal—a stroke of luck that allowed us to savor our breakfast with a breathtaking view of Kuala Lumpur from the 43rd floor. The breakfast spread was beautiful, though choices were limited.
There isn’t any omelette counter in sight, but we couldn’t help but notice our fellow diners indulging in freshly made omelettes. Upon inquiring, we discovered that guests could indeed order custom omelettes from the attentive waitstaff. Reflecting on our experience, we think it would have been beneficial for all guests to be informed of these “hidden menu” offerings.
Dining at The Den Capri by Frasers
First, I’d like to talk about the aesthetic design of the dining area which leaves a lasting impression – youthful, electric and alive. It makes you feel like you’re dining in the coolest spot in town, where all the cool kids gather.
Next, in terms of culianary delights, The Den has exceeded expectation. I’d confidently rate the food here a solid 9/10. We ordered the double treasure fish maw soup that in my personal opinion definitely tastes different from the ones from a traditional Chinese restaurant and we would love to find out what is the secret recipe, a set of truffle fries and steak which was so juicy and cooked to perfection.
High Tea Experience
At RM134 for 2 pax, the high tea set at Capri by Frasers is not only a great value but also a delightful culinary adventure that I wholeheartedly recommend, especially to the expat community eager to explore Malaysian cuisine.
It was a fun experience to have high tea filled with delicious local treats such as butterfly pea nasi lemak, tenggiri fish otak-otak sandwich, brioche tom yum seafood roll, roti jala, cucur sakura ebi and more.
Amenities
One of the standout features of Capri by Fraser that we truly appreciate is the Saltwater Pool, that offers a refreshing and rejuvenating swimming experience that is gentle on the eyes, skin, and hair.
The hotel goes above and beyond to cater to guests’ wellness needs with a game room and a stunning 24/7 gym, offering a panoramic view overlooking the iconic TRX development.
Automated Carpark System
Capri by Frasers Bukit Bintang has a cut edge automated carpark system which is undoubtedly fun and futuristic to experience for the 1st time. However, it is not without its challenges as the waiting time can sometimes be longer than anticipated, resulting in a slight inconvenience for guests. Perhaps by optimizing the system’s efficiency or implementing measures to reduce waiting times, guests can enjoy a smoother and more seamless parking experience in the future.
Overall, Capri by Frasers Bukit Bintang, having opened its doors in 2021, boasts a fresh and vibrant ambiance. It’s the perfect choice for travelers seeking a contemporary and pristine accommodation experience in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
